Alom Shaha is a teacher, film maker, writer and science communicator. His creative approach to science communication and teaching makes him a very popular speaker.

At this workshop Alom will be sharing experiments and science fun that parents can create with their children. He will pick three experiments from his fantastic book, Mr Shaha’s Recipes for Wonder, which encourages parents and carers to become their child’s first science teacher. Every child can become a scientist with help of Mr Shaha and his wonderful recipes.

This event if free and takes place in the Learning Lab at The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge, 18 High St, Canterbury CT1 2BD.

There are two workshop times to choose from; 11.00 to 12.10 and 1.30 to 2.40. The workshops are suitable for all primary school children and their parents and carers.
