KSC Talks & Events
Time:

7:30pm - 8:30pm
Location:

We are very excited to be hosting three archaeologists to discuss ‘Pitiful People and Poorly Pets: Ancient Bones and Modern Science’.

Dr Enid Allison, Dr Åsa Pehrson & Dr Adelina Teoaca from the Canterbury Archaeological Trust will explain the science of archaeology in an interactive manner.  All three archaeologists have extensive experience in the field, including roles in the Whitefriars excavation in Canterbury and the Bronze Age boat in Dover, among other major projects in the UK and across the world. This talk is particularly timely, as archaeological investigation has been a key feature of many Cathedral area renovation projects in recent years.

This talk is open to students, parents and staff at local schools free of charge. If you would like to attend the talk please use the ‘Book Now’ button telling us the names of those who would like to attend.
