7:40pm - 8:40pm

The King’s Talk on Tuesday 11th February is on THATCHER by Charles Moore, the authorised biographer of Margaret Thatcher and a former editor of the Daily Telegraph and the Spectator.

Charles Moore is one of Britain’s most distinguished journalists. He was editor of the Daily Telegraph from 1995 to 2003, editor of the Sunday Telegraph from 1992 to 1995 and editor of the Spectator magazine from 1984 to 1990. Until 2011 he was the Chairman of the centre right think tank Policy Exchange. He continues to write for the Daily Telegraph and Spectator and is the authorised biographer of Margaret Thatcher.

The King’s Talks aim to broaden academic horizons and foster a more universal concern.  The talks happen under the Chatham House Rule, and at question time precedence is given to students.  The speakers are very much our guests and the talks are non-partisan affairs.

This talk is open to students and staff from local schools. If you would like to attend the talk please use the ‘book now’ button to let us know the names of those who would like to attend and we will be in touch with further details.
